Sonmarg Meet and greet on arrival at Srinagar airport by our representative and proceed to Sonmarg (3-4 hrs drive). Reach Sonmarg & transfer to the hotel. Evening free time at leisure. O/n Sonmarg.
Kargil After breakfast leave for Kargil (6-7 hrs). En route Zojila Pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World), Kargil war famous peaks and Kargil war Memorial. Reach Kargil by evening. Check into the hotel. O/n Kargil. Please Note: To cross Zojila pass Military declares Check Post time, accordingly you have to leave from Sonmarg.
Leh After breakfast leave for Leh (9-10 hrs) enroute Mulbek (1st Century Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain), later visit Lamayuru Monastery & enjoy magnificent view of “Moonland - An undulating series of mountains that resemble the surface of the moon.”, Magnetic Hill, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers and Patharsaheb Gurudwara. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. O/n Leh.
Leh City Sightseeing After breakfast proceed for Leh city sightseeing which includes Hemis Monastery – Oldest and richest monastery of Ladakh, Thiksey Monastery – Historic Buddhist monastery on a Hill, Shey palace, Sindhu Ghat, Rancho School – subject to permission, Hall of fame museum – Indian army operated memorial & museum, Shanti stupa – Domed Buddhist temple on a hill, and Leh Palace – Centuries old mountaintop palace. Evening explore Leh market. O/n Leh.
Nubra Valley After early breakfast leave for Nubra valley (5-6 hrs drive) via Khardungla pass @ 18,380 ft (World’s highest motorable road). Reach Nubra valley by afternoon. Nubra Valley offers tremendous scenery on a grand scale with green oasis villages surrounded by thrillingly stark scree slopes and harsh arid mountains. You can enjoy Two hump camel safari on the World’s highest coldest desert at own expenses. O/n Nubra Valley.
Pangong Lake After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (4-5 hrs drive) enroute visit Diskit – Future Buddha Statue. Pangong Lake is at an altitude of 14,500 ft and is World’s highest and longest salt water lake. Enjoy changing colours of the Blue brackish Lake. O/n Pangong Lake.
Leh After breakfast proceed for Leh (4-5 hrs drive) via Changla pass (17,350 ft- world’s third highest motorable road). Reach Leh and check into the hotel. O/n Leh.
Final Departure Today morning drop at Leh airport to catch flight for Mumbai. The adventure ends.
